(Red Oak) Registration for the Marine Toys for Tots program in Montgomery County is underway.
Red Oak Police Chief Justin Rhamy said the main sign up day is December 1st at the Buck Snort Restaurant in Red Oak from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. That will be a mandatory mask event.
A toy drop off/pre-registration day is set for November 30th at the Fareway parking lot from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Santa will be there, along with the Gammell lighted fire truck. This will be another social distancing event with masks mandatory.
Chief Rhamy said they want to make sure that every child, who is registered in Montgomery County, is able to have at least one new toy for Christmas this year.
Drop off points for toys include Fareway, Montgomery County YMCA, Cubby’s, Buck Snort, Hardware Hank, Orscheln’s, HyVee and the Red Oak Police Department. The toys must be new and unwrapped.
