(Griswold) The Griswold School Board elected officers and accepted two early retirement applications at Monday’s meeting.
Schools Superintendent Dave Henrichs says the applications came from Ag Teacher and FFA Advisor Kevin Blair, and Special Education Teacher Kim Wood, each with 33-years of teaching experience
“The early retirement resignations will be effective at the end of this school year,” said Henrichs. “We’re going to miss them and wish them luck in their next chapter of life.”
The district’s early retirement incentive program allows for up to five people to apply by the end of February. The retirement package includes a total payment of $18,000.00 paid out equally over a three-year period.
