Child Killed in Vehicle/Pedestrian accident in Dallas County

(Perry) A seven-year-old child was killed in a vehicle/pedestrian accident in the Woodward-Granger School parking lot in Dallas County.

The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 3:42 p.m. on Monday.

A northbound 2019 GMC Denali driven by a 47-year old individual from Perry traveling through the parking lot struck and killed the seven-year-old child from Bouton.

No other information is being released at the time, pending the investigation and notification of the family.
