(Fort Dodge) The National Junior College Athletic Association held their national cross country championships on Saturday in Fort Dodge.
Former AHSTW standout Ryann Portch ran 5th for Hawkeye Community College. In the Division II women’s five kilometer race Portch clocked a 19:30, averaging 6:16 per mile.
Portch was the lead runner for Hawkeye Community College on a team that placed 3rd in the country.
