(Atlantic) The Cass County Board of Supervisors addressed questions they have received on whether or not they will enact a mask mandate.
Board Chairman Steve Baier said as far as the Board of Supervisors is concerned they just want to encourage everyone to not only wear masks but to take all mitigation measures to cut down on infection rates.
Supervisor Steve Green said they have done some considerable research on mask mandates.
The Supervisors encourage everyone to help protect themselves and their loves ones and show consideration for the businesses and schools that do have a mask policy. However, the Board does not feel comfortable enforcing a mask mandate.
