(Union Co.) A Diagonal woman was injured in a rollover accident in Union County on Monday.
The Union County Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Autumn St. Onge was driving a 2007 Kia Sorento northbound on High and Dry Road at approximately 6:40 a.m. when an animal ran in front of her vehicle. St. Onge swerved to miss the animal and pulled the vehicle onto the shoulder. St. Onge overcorrected, trying to bring the vehicle back onto the road. This action caused the vehicle to roll over. The Kia Sorento came to rest in the west ditch on its wheels.
Autumn St. Onge was transported to the Greater Regional Medical Center by ambulance with suspected minor injuries.
