(Shelby Co.) Shelby County will conduct an audit of Grove-Union-Washington-Westphalia precinct at Noon on Friday, November 6th.
Shelby County Election Commissioner Mark Maxwell said administrative rules require the Iowa secretary of State to select a precinct at random, in every county of Iowa. Then reconcile the number of votes for each Candidate for President of the United States with each ballot cast in that precinct. The Committee must be party balanced with the Auditor or Auditors designee instructing the procedure.
The audit will take place in Room 106 on the first floor of the Shelby County Courthouse.
