(Council Bluffs) A Montgomery County woman was injured in a crash while attempting to elude law enforcement.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 9:36 p.m. on northbound Interstate 29 near the 50-mile marker in Pottawattamie County. Authorities say 21-year old Alexa Raye Prichard was hurt in the crash.
According to the accident report, Prichard was driving a 2010 Mazda MZ6 and lost control. The car went into the ditch and rolled several times, ejecting Prichard, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
Council Bluffs Rescue transported Prichard to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
The accident remains under investigation.
