(Audubon) After multiple rounds of interviews the Audubon County Board of Supervisors have selected a new County Attorney to appoint.
Supervisor’s Chairman Rick Thompson reveals the pick. “We selected Chris Swensen. He’s an Audubon native and Audubon graduate. A real good young guy. We haven’t appointed him yet, but we’ve selected him and the appointment process will take place in a couple of weeks. We are excited to have him on board.”
Swensen will replace Sarah Jennings who resigned upon accepting an opportunity to move closer to family. “He’s a young, energetic young man that wanted to stay around here. Family is important to him. We’d rather have somebody that’s lived here all their life and able to do the job and what we want them to do as opposed to going out of the county somewhere to get one. It worked out real good.”
Swensen will fill the remaining two years on Jenning’s term.
