Robert “Bob” Lilly, 91, of Greenfield passed on Friday, November 6, 2020, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenfield Cemetery. The family asks for you to bring a lawn chair if you wish. Pastor Melinda Stonebraker will officiate the service. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the Greenfield United Methodist Church at a later date. The Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield is in charge of the professional arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.steenfunerals.com.
Open Visitation with family not present will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Steen Funeral Home in Greenfield from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family and funeral home requests masks must be worn and social distancing to be practiced.
Memorials may be directed to the Bob Lilly memorial fund to be established at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Elva Lilly of Greenfield; children, Marilyn Woodson of Greenfield, Ron (Kathy) Lilly of Altoona, Iowa, Mike Lilly of Des Moines, Debbie (Doug) Warrior of Greenfield, Lloyd Lilly of Greenfield and Beverly (Cecil) Williams of Waukee, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Engel of Windsor Heights, Iowa and Theresa Hammond of Sioux City, Iowa; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
