(Audubon) Rick Thompson earned a second term on the Audubon County Board of Supervisors, and challenger Doug Sorensen narrowly defeated Incumbent Supervisor Todd M. Nelson.
Thompson who joined the board in 2017 received 1,817 votes, Sorensen, 1,667, and Todd M. Nelson, garnered 1,639 votes. Nelson was first elected to the board in 2005.
For Soil and Water Conservation Commission, three candidates running for the three seats; Steve Brinkman garnered 2005 votes, Russell Bruhn, 1,923, and Paul Campbell received 1,879 votes.
For County Agricultural Extension Council four candidates running for four seats; Bryan J. Svoboda, 2,005, Lexi Christensen, 1,807, Sandra Irlmeier, received 1,656 votes.
