(Greenfield) There is one contested race for County Supervisor in Adair County. Democrat Thaddeus Hawley is challenging Republican Incumbent Paul Twombly for the seat. Twombly is seeking his fourth term in office.
The county’s uncontested races include; Republican County Auditor Mandy Berg, Republican Incumbent Sheriff Jeffrey L. Vandewater, Democrat County Attorney Melissa S. Larson, District 1 Supervisor Incumbent Republican Matt Wedemyer, and District 3 Supervisor Jerry Walker.
Randy Caviness, James Frederick, and Daryl Nelson are running for the three seats on the County Soil and Water Conservation District Commission. And the four candidates running for the four seats on the County Agricultural Extension include; Jessica Christensen, Matt Mensing, Trent Raasch, and Karen Schulteis.
The polls open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 9:00 p.m.
