There are other safe ways to give out candy and stay safe such as; hand the candy to trick-or-treaters, so they don’t dig into the same bowl as others, or pre-package goodie bags ahead of time. For those people of higher risk, who enjoy having the children come to their home, consider setting up a table with pre-packaged candy bags, and then relax in a lawn chair a safe distance away.
