(Harlan) Shelby County Zoning Administrator Tony Buman spoke to the Board of Supervisors last week about vacancies on the zoning board.
The Board of Adjustment has four vacancies and the Planning and Zoning Commission has six vacancies. The new requirements for members requires individuals from non-incorporated areas be members; this excludes previous members. Buman said the Board of Adjustment normally meets up to three times a year and the Planning and Zoning Commission members meet once every two to three years on an as needed basis.
In other news, the Supervisors approved a waiver from Matthew Schechinger for a livestock construction project. The Board also approved an application to use the Courthouse lawn for an art show, The Forgotten Artists, on November 7th.
