(Creston) A Creston man is arrested in connection with an alcohol-related charge and assault on a law enforcement officer.
Police arrested 27-year old Dustin Michael Boyd on Thursday, at 301 W. Adams Street for Public Intoxication, Assault on a Police Officer without injury, and Disorderly Conduct. Authorities transported Boyd to the Union County Jail and held him on a $1,600 cash or surety bond.
Police also heard from Lester Dunlap, of 808 W. Adams Street reporting two slashed tires on his car while it was parked in the alley behind his residence. The estimated loss is $100.
Police also received a report from Kenneth Quineten Weaselhead, of 400 S. Division St., of a broken car window while parked at his residence. The loss is estimated at $200.00.
