(Atlantic) With the current positivity rate Atlantic School District Officials are encouraging anyone with COVID symptoms to stay home this Friday night when Atlantic hosts Des Moines, Christian. Atlantic Activities Director Andy Mitchell released the following mitigation strategies on Wednesday afternoon.
Tickets vouchers will be given on a priority basis to players and coaches. Atlantic High School student and community vouchers will be available beginning Friday, October 23, at 7:30 a.m. These will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The tickets will be limited to two per student or community member. Those attending the game are expected to wear a mask when they cannot social distance.
Attendees are asked not to stand along fence sections marked with a yellow rope. Fence sections without a yellow rope can accommodate up to three people.
Bleachers are marked as to where fans can sit. School Officials ask attendees to follow signage or blue tape markings. Spectators are not allowed on the track.
Concession stand lines will be marked. Officials ask people to follow social distancing while in line. Concession stand workers will be masked and gloved.
The restroom will be sterilized before the game and once per quarter.
