(Clarinda) The Page County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people in separate incidents for OWI.
Deputies found a vehicle parked near the intersection of Highway 71 and 270th Street approximately six- miles south of Clarinda.
During the contact with the vehicle, a Page County Deputy found a man identified as 22-year old Juan Manuel Morales Jr., of Brookshire, Texas, slumped over in the driver’s seat with the engine running.
The Deputy awakened Morales and subsequently arrested him for OWI 1st Offense. Morales was transported to the Page County Jail and held on a $1000.00 bond pending further court proceeding.
In a separate case, Deputies arrested 25-year old Frederick Eugene Woods, of Independence, Missouri, eight- miles south of Clarinda, for OWI following a traffic stop on Highway 71 and 290th Street. Authorities transported Woods to the Page County Jail, where he was held on a $1,000 bond.
