(Mount Ayr) The Nodaway Valley boys placed three runners in the top ten while CAM had a top fifteen finisher in both the boys and girls race at Mount Ayr Thursday.
The Wolverines sent a partial squad to their final meet of the regular season. The boys placed 2nd and the girls didn’t comprise a score. Leading the boys were Toby Bower, Doug Berg, and Ben Breheny all in the top ten. Bower was 4th, Berg 5th, and Breheny 8th. Others that competed were Gavin Shoemaker in 21st and Jaxon Christensen 33rd. The only girls runner for the Wolverines was Hope Kading in 28th.
CAM placed 7th among 12 boys scoring teams. The Cougars had Ethan Follmann lead the way in 14th. Next to cross the finish line for the Cougars was Ryland Ogelsbee in 34th. Korben Brunt placed 43rd, Walker Gettler 52nd, Cale Maas 55th, Carson Cary 56th, Gavin Clayton 59th, and Ben Bartlett 80th. There were 107 boys runners. The CAM girls had Mia South place 15th, Whitney Holaday 23rd, Emily Plagman 27th, Cadence Stephenson 32nd, and Abby Tibken 39th. CAM was 3rd in the team scoring.
