Updated: Fiber Optic Line Fixed, 9-1-1 restored

(Atlantic) Cass County Emergency Management Director Mike Kennon says Cass County 9-1-1 service has been restored.

A fiber-optic line was cut between Atlantic and Council Bluffs this afternoon causing all Cass County 9-1-1 calls to be redirected to surrounding counties and the Iowa State Patrol.
