(Atlantic) Atlantic Schools Superintendent Steve Barber says the new Trojan Bowl will be closed to the public from Wednesday, October 14, to Tuesday, October 20th due to construction work on the all-surface track surrounding the stadium.
Barber says the new asphalt has cured and construction crews will be coming in on Wednesday to finish the work.
“Midwest Tennis and Track will be coming in on Wednesday and putting on the top surface on the D-Zone, and running track,” said Barber. “That’s why we’re locking down the Trojan Bowl to allow for the new surface to cure.”
This will complete the work on the four-lane track at Trojan Bowl.
Meanwhile, construction continues on the baseball and softball fields, and the soccer field and track at the high school.
