(Guthrie Co.) An Arizona man was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated following an accident in Guthrie County Friday.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 47-year-old Chad Polivka, of San Tan Valley, was driving a 2019 Audi westbound on 200th when the vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree.
Polivka was arrested for OWI and transported to the Guthrie county Jail.
In other activity, an Anita man was cited following a motorcycle accident in Guthrie County Friday evening.
The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Kody Havens was driving a 2015 Harley Davidson westbound on White Pole Road when he got over too far onto the shoulder and lost control. The motorcycle entered the ditch. Havens advised his shoulders took most of the impact on the ground. He was picked up by someone and taken to his residence.
Havens was cited for Failure to Maintain Vehicle and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident.
