(Audubnon) Trick or treating is not expected to take place in Audubon this year.
A mayoral resolution on Halloween is on the agenda for Monday’s city council meeting. City Clerk Joe Foran says the indication is to pass on the annual tradition. “The last time I talked to the Mayr she said no she was not going to do it because of the high number of Covid cases coming up.”
The council will act on naming Blake Miller as an Assistant City Attorney. “The County Attorney was also the Assistant City Attorney so with her resignation the spot was open and we are going to be filling that.”
Also on the agenda are a resolution to approve a bid for digester covers at the sewer project and a request from Region XII to document a property in town that is historical to help obtain grant money.
Additionally, the council will address the first reading of an ordinance to change utility rates and billing structure to monthly billing.
