(Creston) The Creston Police Department reports three break-ins, vandalism, and seven arrests in their latest update from October 2 to October 4.
Police investigated three break-ins on October 4.
*Shauna McClain, 208 S Maple St. reported that sometime between 9:00 P.M. on 10/3/20 and 8:30 A.M. on 10/4/20 someone broke into her vehicle that was parked @ her residence and stole cash and the vehicle registration. The loss is estimated at $7.00.
*Kathryn Fox, 305 S Maple St. reported that on 10/4/20 at 4:30 A.M. someone broke into her garage at her residence and stole piano tuning kit equipment. The loss is estimated at $125.00.
*Roger Carter, 207 S Birch St. reported that sometime between 3:00 P.M. on 10/3/20 and 9:24 A.M. on 10/4/20 someone broke into his vehicle that was parked in the back of the residence and stole cash. The loss is estimated at $200.00.
On October 2, Steven Key, 515 Livingston St. reported that sometime on 10/2/20 between 6:30 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. someone keyed his vehicle while parked at the Creston High School. The loss is estimated at $200.00.
*Creston Police report the arrest of 22-year old Colleen Corell, of 186 Cherry Dr. Hudgins, Virginia, at 703 W Taylor, on the charge of Theft 5th. She was cited and released from the scene on a Promise to Appear.
*Dakota Nix, 19, 1502 Lawrence Ave, Independence, Ia was arrested @ 806 Laurel on the charge of Theft 5th. She was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 bond.
*Alex Richard Cunningham, 30, 1024 Crest Dr. was arrested @ his residence on a Union County Warrant for the charge of Violation of Probation on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd and Harassment 1st. He was also additionally charged with Violation of a No Contact Order. He is being held at the Union County Jail with No Bond until seen.
*Danny Fry Jr., 32, 304 N Cherry, was arrested on the 300 block of N Cherry on the charge of Harrassment 3rd. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 Bond.
*Chuck Allen Johnson, 47, 3946 E 23rd. St. Des Moines, Ia was arrested at 203 N. Oak, for Public Intoxication. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 Bond.
*Brandon Scott Lawrence,27, 502 S Maple St. was arrested @ his residence on a Union County Warrant for Theft 5th. He was released from the Union County Jail on a $300 Bond.
*Michael Matherly, 34, 314 N Spruce was arrested @ the Law Enforcement Center on three Union County Warrants as follows:
#1 Failure to Appear on the original charges of Harassment 1st and Threat – Explosive or Incendiary Device
#2 Failure to Appear for Bond Revocation Hearing on the original charge of Assault on Persons in certain Occupations (2 counts).
#3 Failure to Appear on the original charge of Possession of Controlled Substance 1st.
He is being held in the Union County Jail on a $7000 cash-only bond.
