(Council Bluffs) A Carson man was the victim of a robbery in Council Bluffs Sunday morning.
The Council Bluffs Police Department says officers were called to 2701 23rd Avenue, the Horseshoe Casino parking garage, at 9:31 a.m. Officers spoke with the 73-year-old victim, Gary Goodman, who stated that as he was exiting his vehicle a white male approached him in his mid to late 30’s wearing jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, black mask and white Nike Shox shoes. The male displayed a semi-automatic handgun and demanded that Goodman give him his wallet. After a brief struggle, the suspect left the area in a silver 2016-17 Nissan Altima, with after-market rims/tires, which was being driven by a female.
During the struggle one of the suspect’s shoes came off.
