(Stuart) The ACGC boys and Van Meter girls were the top teams at West Central Valley’s cross country meet on Thursday. Trevin Suhr finished as the boys individual champ to lead the Chargers to the team win. Van Meter’s Clare Kelly and Mary Kelly went 1-2 to pace the Bulldogs to the girls team crown.
Trevin Suhr’s win came in a time of 17:21 which was :18 in front of Missouri Valley’s Cody Gilpin. Other ACGC scoring runners were Justin Reinhart 3rd, Kaden Thompson 5th, Zander Kenyon 6th, and Andrew Mahaffey 7th. They also had Austin Wetzel come in 10th and Lance Bunde 11th.
The ACGC girls were led by three runners in the top seven. Rylee Sloss placed 4th, Kiersten Knobbe 6th, and Jorja Hoover 7th. Coming in 11th for ACGC was EmmaKay McClain. Alyson Embleton was 16th and Taylor Carlson ran 20th.
