(Clarinda) An Essex woman was injured in a rollover accident in Page County last week.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident near the intersection of 190th and L Avenue, approximately six miles northwest of Clarinda, on Thursday. The investigation into the accident indicated 31-year-old Chasity Nichole Zaiger, was operating a 2002 Jeep Liberty westbound on 190th Street near L Avenue when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch. The vehicle then flipped end over end before coming to rest on its side. Zaiger exited the vehicle and was able to call for help.
Zaiger was transported to the Clarinda Regional Health Center by Clarinda Ambulance service with undisclosed injuries. Zaiger was cited for No valid driver’s license.
The vehicle sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.
The Page County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Clarinda Fire Department and the Clarinda Ambulance service.
