(Atlantic) One of the area’s best pitchers has announced her college decision.
Atlantic senior Olivia Engler will play softball at Iowa Central. Engler helped lead Atlantic to a 17-2 record last summer. She posted a 14-2 record in the circle with an ERA of 1.10. Opponents hit just .160 against her as she struck out 134 batters and walked 28.
Engler contributed at the plate as well with a .471 average. During her junior year she hit eight doubles and drove in 24 runs.
