(Council Bluffs) The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Council Bluffs area residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s today.
Instead of hosting large gatherings, the Alzheimer’s Association is encouraging participants to walk as individuals or in small groups on sidewalks, tracks and trails in their community. Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
Walkers can also tune in for the live streamed Opening Ceremonies at 10 a.m. and drive or walk by the view-only Promise Garden at River’s Edge Pavilion at Tom Hanafan Rivers Edge Park from 9 – 11 a.m.
