(Griswold) KSOM’s quest to chat with every starting quarterback in the immediate coverage area takes us to Griswold this week where Lane Mueller takes the snaps for the Tigers.
Mueller was the backup last year to his brother Derek, but also saw a lot of action as a running back. He ran for 562 yards as a junior. This season he took over a brand new system that features much more passing than Griswold has turned to in the past. It’s been a welcome sight for Mueller who is hitting on 50% of his throws.
The Tigers are “Starving” for a win in the words of Mueller. They might have their best chance in a while to secure one when they take on 0-3 East Union this Friday night.
