(Clarinda) Two juveniles were hurt in an ATV Accident in Page County over the weekend.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 3:22 p.m. on 180th Street. Clarinda Rescue transported the 13-year old driver to the Clarinda Hospital, and a private vehicle transported the 14-year old passenger to the Clarinda hospital.
According to the report, a westbound KVF-750 ATV driven by the 13-year old male from Clarinda went out of control and entered the south ditch. The ATV went airborne ejecting the two occupants. The machine came to rest on top of a fence.
The Iowa State Patrol didn’t release any names.
The accident remains under investigation. The Page County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Iowa State patrol at the scene.
