(Atlantic) Health officials notified the Atlantic Community School District Wednesday evening of positive COVID-19 test results from individuals in the School District.
Atlantic Schools Superintendent Steve Barber says the district is following their Return to Learn plan and Cass County Public Health procedures regarding quarantine.
Barber says individuals affected by these positive cases have been communicated with, and continue to follow mitigation strategies of social distancing, handwashing, mask usage, disinfecting, and other procedures. Barber says although the district experienced a low positive case analysis rate, they must continue to follow our plan with fidelity.
The are no activities affected by the positive cases.
