Nodaway Valley avoids idle week by filling Greene County’s homecoming vacancy

(Greenfield) Two high school football teams searching for a Week 4 football opponent have found each other.

Nodaway Valley will travel to Greene County this Friday night. The Wolverines were without a Week 4 foe after Ogden announced they would not be able to play this week. Greene County’s schedule had a void left by DM Christian, which is sidelined for a 2nd week in a row.

The Wolverines are in Class A and have a record of 1-3. The Rams are in Class 2A and enter play on Friday night at 1-2 on the season. The game will kick off at 7:00 p.m. in Jefferson.
