(Audubon) Audubon continues to turn in big plays on offense. The 2nd rated Wheelers moved to 3-0 on Friday night with a 57-9 win at West Harrison.
Gavin Smith carried 11 times for 199 yards and five touchdowns. He also completed 4/5 passes for 62 yards and two TD’s. Joel Klocke and Ethan Klocke were each on the receiving end of Smith touchdown passes while Evan Alt added a rushing touchdown for the Wheelers
Gavin Larsen recorded a team best five tackles, followed by Alt with four. Alex Foran registered a pair of tackles for loss. The defense also forced four turnovers with Matthew Beisswenger intercepting two passes and Rylan Hansen recovering two fumbles.
