(Council Bluffs) The Lewis Central boys cross country team placed three runners in the top fifteen and won the team championship at Abraham Lincoln on Saturday.
Freshman Ethan Eichorn led the Titans as the individual runner-up. He finished thirty seconds behind Thomas Jefferson’s Aidan Booton. TJ also had the third place finisher with Juan Martinez. Harlan senior Trey Gross and Glenwood freshman Andrew Smith rounded out the top five.
SE Polk was the girls team champion with four runners in the top ten. The Rams had champion Mattison Plummer and runner-up Jenna Francois. Glenwood’s Emma Hughes came in 3rd, 4th was Harlan’s Kaia Bieker, and Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Sophia Karras placed 5th.
