(Shenandoah) Harlan’s Trey Gross broke 17:00 and won the boys race at the Shenandoah Cross Country Early Bird Meet on Tuesday.
Gross posted a winning time of 16:49 and was joined in the top ten by teammates Mitchell Rueschenberg, Ian Shelton, and Reed Boardman. The Cyclones scored 36 points to win the team title. All of their scoring runners finished in the top 15 with Gross 1st, Rueschenberg 5th, Shelton 7th, Boardman 9th, and Kaiden Milliken 14th.
Clarinda and Red Oak each had two individuals in the top ten with the Cardinals placing second and the Tigers third in the team scoring. Shenandoah, Treynor, East Mills, and Essex rounded out the scoring teams in the field.
