(Red Oak) One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident in Red Oak on Saturday afternoon.
According to Police, the accident happened at around 4:04 p.m. at the intersection of 3rd and Corning Streets. Authorities say 63-year old Clarissa Faye Ortegon of Red Oak suffered minor injuries in the crash.
Police say a southbound 2019 Hyundai driven by 39-year old Bradley Ralph Tracy of Emerson failed to yield at the stop sign and struck a 2018 Nissan Versa driven by Ortegon.
Red Oak EMS transported Ortegon to the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Officers cited Ralph Tracy for Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and Red Oak Fire and Rescue assisted Police at the scene.
