(Anita) CAM got off to an impressive start to their season with a lopsided victory over Griswold Friday night. The Cougars darted out to a quick, early lead and never looked back.
Coach Barry Bower says several players had solid performances including Lane Spieker, Colby Rich, Joe Kauffman, Cade Ticknor, and others. Their contributions came thanks in large part to he play up front. “I’ve got to give credit to the guys up front. Reese Oglesbee is one of those guys, but Nolan Hensley did a nice job and so did Gavyn Jessen plus we have some others guys that are spelling them. I thought they did a nice job in Week 1.”
Coach Bower admits they’ll still be able to find some things to work on when they review the film. The Cougars have Bedford on their schedule next Friday night.
