(Creston) A Creston man died in a motorcycle/pickup accident in Union County.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened on Tuesday at around 8:36 p.m. on High and Dry Street south of 205th Street. According to the report, 44-year old Richard W. Starlin, of Creston was killed in the crash.
Authorities say a northbound 2013 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven Starlin topped a hill and came upon a northbound 2005 Toyota Tacoma driven by 52-year old Thaddeus Sickels, of Creston. Starlin traveling at a higher rate of speed applied the brakes and struck the rear of the pickup.
