(Glenwood) A Council Bluffs man was arrested on numerous charges after attempting to elude law enforcement on Friday.
The Mills County Sheriff’s Office says 31-year-old James McFarland was driving a 2008 Volkswagen eastbound on Highway 34 attempting to elude law enforcement and attempted to go northbound on 390th Street when the vehicle entered the north ditch and hit an embankment, causing disabling damage to the vehicle. McFarland was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. He was transported to Jennie Edmundson Hospital by Glenwood Rescue. McFarland was charged with Eluding, OWI 3rd, Driving While Revoked, Speeding, Reckless Driving, Passing on Grade or Hill, Open Container, Failure to Maintain Control and Failure to Provide Proof of Financial Liability. He was held on $11,000 bond.
In other activity, Jennifer Elizabeth Falcon, 23, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested following a single-vehicle accident on Friday. Falcon was charged with OWI 1st. Bond was set at $1,000.
Marcus Jonathan Morgan, 26, of Hastings, was arrested August 20th for Interference with Official Acts, and on warrants for Harassment 1st, Contempt and Violation of a No Contact Order. Bond was set at $2,600.
Kyleigh Jo Crom, 32, of Malvern, was arrested August 20th for Possession of a Controlled Substance and on a warrant out of Council Bluffs for Failure to Appear. Total bond was $2,000.
Kale Garrett Hardman, 39, of Red Oak, was arrested Saturday for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000.
Travis James McAlexander, 29, of Papillion, Nebraska, was arrested Saturday for Fugitive from Justice.
Michael James Beveridge, 47, of Omaha, Nebraska, was arrested Sunday on a warrant for Failure to Appear on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Eluding, Interference with Official Acts, and Violation of Probation. Bond was set at $2,000
Gregory Allen Riley, 52, of Red Oak, was arrested Sunday for Driving While Barred. Bond was set at $2,000.
