(Red Oak) A Red Oak woman was arrested for Domestic Abuse Assault 1st Offense. The Red Oak Police Department says 34-year-old Melissa Dawn Bishop was arrested this morning after officers were called to the 100 block of N 4th Street for a report of two people fighting. Upon arrival and investigation, officers found that Bishop did strike the victim. Bishop was held in the Montgomery County Jail until she has an appearance before a magistrate judge.
