(Clear Lake) A teenage boy died in a personal watercraft accident at Clear Lake in northern Iowa on Tuesday.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says the accident happened at around noon in a collision between two personal watercraft. A 14-year old boy died in the accident, a 12-year old operating the other (PWC) involved in the crash suffered minor injuries to the face. A passenger on the 12-year olds (PWC) escaped injury.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources was assisted by the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s Office and Clear Lake Fire and Rescue.
The accident is still under investigation.
