(Cedar Falls) The University of Northern Iowa football team experienced a shakeup in their 2020 schedule on Friday. The Missouri Valley Football Conference announced its member schools will not conduct conference competition this fall.
Instead, the league will play it’s eight game schedule in the spring. Any non-conference fall competition will be at each school’s discretion. In the case of UNI, their non-conference opponents have previously pushed back fall competition to the spring or cancelled non-conference games.
Season ticket holders may transfer season tickets to the spring, transfer the balance of their account to the Panther Scholarship Club, apply the balance as a credit towards tickets in the fall of 2021, or receive a full refund.
