APD, Salvation Army and Walmart team up for school supply drive August 7-9

(Atlantic) The Atlantic Police Department is teaming up with the Salvation Army and Walmart to collect school supplies for Cass County children.

Atlantic Police Chief Dave Erickson said you can drop off school supply donations in a box that will be located at Walmart in Atlantic August 7^th through the 9^th.

“I just want to thank everybody ahead of time for donating all of this stuff to help our kids get through school,” stated Chief Erickson.

Chief Erickson said they already have 200 backpacks that will be distributed along with the donated school supplies to all of the schools in Cass County.
