(Greenfield) Well decorated Nodaway Valley senior Tyler Vandewater had another postseason honor roll in this week when the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association announced their All-District Baseball Teams.
Vandewater was named to the Class 1A All-Southwest District First Team as a catcher. The honor comes after a season in which the University of Benedictine Mesa commit posted 18 hits in 17 games with two doubles and 11 RBI. Vandewater drew 14 walks and ended up with a .409 batting average and .562 on base percentage. The five year starter scored 22 runs and stole 18 bases.
