(Council Bluffs) Council Bluffs Police Officers saved a woman who drove her car into a Lake.
Officers Porter and Youso were dispatched to Lake Manawa at around 11:23 p.m. on Wednesday. The officers found the female sitting in her car with the vehicle facing the boat ramp. The female accelerated and drove the vehicle into the lake before the officers could stop her. Officer Porter jumped onto the hood of the car and pulled her out through the window of the vehicle as it was sinking underwater.
Officer s Porter and Officer Youso swam the female to safety. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
