(Red Oak) A Montgomery County man faces assault and weapons charges.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 49-year old John Lawrence Davis of Villisca on Tuesday for Domestic Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. The arrest stems from an incident in the 400 block of N. 5th Avenue in Villisca. Officers transported Davis to jail. He is being held on no bond.
In other activity; Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 50-year old Mark Douglas Berggren, of Red Oak for driving while barred. The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Vine Avenue north of Villisca. Authorities transported Berggren to the Montgomery County Jail. He is being held on a $2,000 bond.
