(Atlantic) Officials with a non-profit Medical Clinic purchased a building at 507 Chestnut Street in Atlantic.
The LC Clinic, a non-profit and privately owned clinic specializing in early pregnancy confirmation. The organization is funded by churches, individuals, and businesses. It first opened it’s doors in Stuart in 2012 and a second office in Creston in 2015, with a mission to meet the needs of men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy. This third clinic is aimed at providing the same service.
A steering committee was formed in September 2019 and is currently raising funds and creating community awareness for the future Atlantic location.
