(Red Oak) Red Oak Police arrested two people on drug possession charges.
Police conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Sunnyside Slope Drive in Red Oak on Sunday for multiple traffic violations. The stop led to the arrest of 42-year old Jeremy Joel Binns of Laurens, Iowa, and 26-year old Clara Jane Heitshusen of Council Bluffs.
Authorities charged Binns and Heitshusen with possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers transported Binns and Heitshusen to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office where they were held on a $50,000 bond.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and K-9 unit assisted the Red Oak Police Department.
