(Massena) A Cass County man suffered injuries in a single-vehicle accident near Massena late Wednesday night.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened at around 11:05 p.m. on 740th Street and Richland Road. The driver, 43-year old Richard Edwin Swain, of Massena was injured in the crash.
According to the report; a northbound 2000 F150 pickup driven by Swain ran the stop sign and began to slide on the roadway. The pickup entered the east ditch and came to rest on its passenger side. Massena Rescue transported Swain to the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic.
The truck sustained $2,500 damage. The accident is under investigation.
