(Area) It’s been a unique summer on the diamond without a doubt and now the season is quickly winding down. In most cases, conference play is in the books and the bulk of area teams have just a few non-conference dates remaining in the regular season.
Postseason play begins as early as Thursday, July 9th for some baseball teams. The majority of 1A and 2A baseball squads will get the district tournament started this Saturday, July 11th. Softball postseason play gets started for the smaller classes in just over one week on Monday, July 13th.
